The battle was long, and Glade and Vonara were badly hurt. With the room cleared the party pushed on into the Hall of Regret, where Lorsa Rygor’s condition became critical.

Battle in the brine
The party is in the Flooded Library within the Aldani Shrine and has sensed an enemy presence beneath the dark water. It is the night of the thirtieth of Kythorn, 1492 DR.
On feeling the enemy presence, the party collectively chooses to jump into the deeper water and engage the threat head-on. They are immediately assaulted by a water elemental and a water weird.
A grueling, extended aquatic battle follows among the ruined bookshelves. Glade and Vonara are badly hurt by the crushing water pressure and the creatures’ slams. The party manages to dissipate the elemental forms and clear the room.
The Hall of Regret
Battered and soaked, the party pushes forward and leaves the library behind. They enter the Hall of Regret, a long, dimly lit corridor. The carvings on its walls depict the Aldani transforming from proud people into twisted monsters, mirroring Lorsa’s current deterioration.
The oppression in the air becomes suffocating as the party prepares to face what lies at the end of the hall.
Aftermath
- The Flooded Library was cleared.
- Glade and Vonara were badly hurt.
- Lorsa Rygor’s condition was critical. The Hall of Regret seemed to be accelerating her possession.
