Grandfather Zitembe finished his ritual and pointed the party toward the deep jungle. The party secured Azaka Stormfang as its guide, left Port Nyanzaru and traveled for five days along the Soshenstar River, where they discovered Camp Righteous and sighted the Heart of Ubtao. In the Aldani Basin they located the Snake Temple of Inete’s visions and prepared to infiltrate it.

The ritual
Grandfather Zitembe, who had begun a ritual at the Temple of Savras, finishes his trance. He points the party toward the deep jungle and confirms the presence of a dark obelisk.
Azaka Stormfang
The party secures the services of the guide Azaka Stormfang. She waives her fee in exchange for the party’s promise to help her travel to Firefinger to retrieve a stolen item.
The Soshenstar River
The party departs Port Nyanzaru and travels along the Soshenstar River. They discover Camp Righteous, which is abandoned and in a ruined state, and they sight the Heart of Ubtao floating in the distant sky. After five days of travel the date is the fifth of Kythorn, 1492 DR.
The Aldani Basin
At Inete’s behest the party arrives at the Aldani Basin. They locate the Snake Temple that Inete saw in her nightmare-visions and make preparations to infiltrate it and stop whatever dark ritual is being conducted.
Aftermath
- Azaka Stormfang joined the party as its guide, a contracted ally. She expected the party to honor the Firefinger deal.
- Inete, an acolyte, was with the party as a companion.
- The Red Wizards were hostile. The party was actively interfering with their ritual.
- Gained: a hundred gold, a donation from Inete.
